Flocculant

Flocculant is a specialized swimming pool chemical designed to eliminate cloudy water and restore crystal clarity. It works by aggregating fine suspended particles—such as dust, debris, and microscopic algae—into larger clumps called “flocs.” These flocs either settle to the bottom for vacuuming or are filtered out by the pool system, greatly enhancing the effectiveness of your pool’s filtration process.

By neutralizing the electrical charges that keep particles suspended, flocculants cause impurities to bind together. This is particularly useful after heavy pool use, environmental contamination (like windblown dust), or algae treatment. Whether you’re maintaining a residential or commercial swimming pool, Flocculant is an essential tool for achieving and maintaining sparkling clean water.

Recommended Application

• Dosage: Use approximately 100–150 ml per 10,000 liters of pool water
• Application: Dilute the required amount in a bucket of pool water and distribute evenly across the pool surface
• Action Time: Allow pool to sit undisturbed for 6–12 hours so flocs can settle
• Clean-Up: Carefully vacuum settled particles from the bottom of the pool

Disadvantages & Precautions

• Not suitable for cartridge filters – works best with sand filters
