pH Plus

pH Plus is a specially formulated pool chemical designed to raise the pH level of swimming pool water when it becomes too acidic. Low pH can lead to corrosion of pool equipment, eye and skin irritation for swimmers, and decreased effectiveness of chlorine sanitizers. By restoring water to the ideal pH range of 7.2 to 7.8, pH Plus helps maintain proper water balance and enhances overall pool comfort and safety.

Typically made from sodium carbonate (soda ash), pH Plus dissolves quickly in water and is easy to apply either directly or after pre-dilution, depending on the pool system. This product is suitable for use in both residential and commercial pools.

Recommended Application

• Measure the pool’s pH before treatment (target range: 7.2–7.8)
• For every 10,000 liters of water, add 100–150 grams of pH Plus to raise the pH by approximately 0.2 units
• Pre-dissolve in a bucket of water and distribute evenly across the pool while the pump is running
• Re-test the pH after 4 hours and repeat treatment if necessary
